I have been at Merrol Hyde since I was in Kindergarten. I've never known any difference, but I love it. It is a tight-knit community with excellent academics. Merrol Hyde definitely prepares you for college and they want what is best for their students. One thing they could change is the school lunch. Sometimes it is inedible, but I understand it's the best they can do.

If you're wanting yourself or your child to be prepared for college by going to an extremely academic focused school, then Merrol Hyde Magnet is a good choice. If you're wanting you or your child to reach D1 level sports, then this is not the school for you.

i'm reviewing again, and nothing has gotten better. the teachers are still extremely unhelpful, and the students constantly belittle others for not being up to their standards. in fact, they have a secret group chat dedicated to making fun of others, and the teachers literally do not care. in some instances, they have encouraged it. the academics are very high paced and they rush you constantly, and the staff and teachers aren't understanding whatsoever and only care about what you turn in. like i've mentioned before, they don't care about you or your mental health. while the actual building itself is fine, excluding some broken tiles and such, the actual system is not. for sure. unless you want to be burnt out and miserable all the time, do not go here. please, there are much better options.

Our second daughter is currently a student at Merrol Hyde. Our oldest daughter graduated from Merrol Hyde and received a total of over $250,000 in scholarship funds, which more than covered all her costs to attend (and graduate from) a prestigious private university. Our lengthy experience (spanning...
