I have had nothing but a fabulous experience at this school. I've had 3 kids in different classes with different teachers over the last 3 years.Parent involvement and communication with patience is key to a successful school year.The only complaint is the traffic at pick up and drop off. Poor. Teachers care very little about their students as demonstrated by lack of communication with parents, failure to respond to parents request to talk unless you threaten to contact the principal. Principal Curtis is great. I've had great experiences with every teacher that my kids have had there. They communicate really well and seem to genuinely love their jobs. I wish my kids could stay there all the way to 8th grade.

The administration in this school is very unapproachable. The Principal's secretary is extremely rude and lazy. I know this school was sought after many years ago however it has declined dramatically in their scores over the last few years due to this decline they are now considered a "Focus" school...
