Herndon high school is a great example of a school that truly cares for their students. They constantly reach out through emails and make students known of opportunities that are up and coming. The sports department has grown very diverse over the years and our teams have improved. One of my favorite departments is the musical arts. The pride of Herndon has earned many titles and the students within the program thrive with the environment they've been able to build with the correct funding and encouragement from the school.

Overall, Herndon is a great school. They have multiple activities so you can always find an activity of your interest. Most teachers are great and always support us to go further. I think some of the worst parts of the school is that they don't really do much when kids go against the rules and it leads to them just punishing everyone rather than fixing the problem. I would like for the administration to be more active in stopping students bad behavior rather than letting it slide.

My time at this High School was very well spent, along with many kind teachers and students. Overall the teaching isn't bad and many teachers truly do care and try to help students. Although the vending machines include some different options I believe that this school truly did help me grow up into the person I am today, and for that I am thankful.
