I have two children at Merkley and we could not be happier with the school. My children have been truly blessed with excellent teachers who go above and beyond to communicate with parents and challenge students. The guidance counselor is amazing!

The Principal is HORRIBLE and doesnt know how to effectively manage. She also doesn't know state rules and regulations. She makes up things as she goes. Tells kids they cant hug each other (ok) but then asks them for a hug. Creepy.

My kids went to Merkley for a few years and mostly with terrible experience. Many of the teachers and the principal do not belong in education. It became so bad I pulled my child from there after just a month or so into the year. Shortly afterwards I get a notice that I have been sent to collections...

The principal seems to be feared by the staff, and frankly, does not appear to really know what she is doing - what the role of a principal is, and how the staff are supposed to act.
