I'd say that Highland Academy is a great place to send your child if they prefer academics over sports and being active. Highland is a very indoor-centric school, focused on interactive (yet stagnant) classrooms. Very few sports are offered that are hosted by the school itself, but the academic portion somewhat makes up for it.
