Highlands Ranch High School is a good school, there are lots of opportunities to get involved. The staff and administration is very welcoming and communicative, willing to work in the best direction for the children.

Highlands Ranch High School is a weird mix. The school itself is pretty run down, old, and it has low funding. The teachers however are incredible. There are always a few bad apples but 90% of the teachers are the most empathetic caring people you will meet. Our school is also very academic heavy so we have a lot of electives and a lot of AP/duel enrollment classes. The students are, by majority, bad but you will always meet a couple people you like.

I don't think they push their students hard enough educationally. Sports was a big deal to my daughter and their sport program was lacking and they don't card enough to fix it.

I agree about poor leadership and allowing kids to misbehave. Having my kid here was a terrible experience. Would not recommend

My daughter had a very bad experience at this school. She was not challenged at all and got a 3.9 GOA without even trying. She felt that most of her teachers (other than two) were lazy, doing the absolute bare bare minimum necessary to get by. The environment of the girls basketball team is nasty an...

Struggled with mental health and that awfully rude woman at the counseling desk wouldn't let me talk to a counselor. I am severely disappointed to say the least. This school preaches that it's a safe space and that you can get help if you need it, but they have let me and others down time and time a...
