Admin tries to unite the students, but it typically doesn't work. I like most of my teachers, but some of them are hit or miss. I'm currently running out on honors/AP classes to take for my senior year next year, so I'm going to have to take some online next year as for academics. I'm trying not to reflect my opinions on my classmates of the school as a whole, but a lot of students are rude (true for any high school), there used to be a ton of fights, but I believe there's not a a many now.

I really enjoyed being at Hillcrest all four years of high school. Hillcrest gets a bad rep, but it's changing for the better. With a national award-winning broadcast program, an award-winning choir, orchestra, band, and even a JROTC program, Hillcrest is continually improving. Not to mention that the building is currently under reconstruction right now. In a few years, kids and their parents will be jumping to transfer here.

Everything I'm writing is what I've been told by freinds who went here. The school seems to be vastly underfunded with rather rude teachers who dont do their jobs properly. The school also seems to be rather dangerous with fights happening often. I havent experienced it myself but from what I've heard about this place the school is bad.

My wife loved going to this school and has so many memories! There is so much opportunity. The school district is in the middle of rebuilding and remodeling the whole school to make it the most up to date in Springfield! Staff and teachers really invest in the kids

Hillcrest has been great for my family. Hillcrest has so much to offer and it will receive over 30 million dollars in renovations over the next few years. It will be like a brand new school!

Hillcrest was a good school. It had its problems but so does every school. The thing about Hillcrest is that the diversity of people is insane so people who would classify themselves as upper middle class are places with those below the poverty line. For some students and parents this is hard becaus...

I went to Hillcrest. If it hadn't been for a few great teachers, band and colorguard I would not have finished probably. I can't count how many pregnancies I had to witness let alone drugs or overdoses. There was not much discipline going on at this school. It seemed like quite a few teachers cared...
