I just felt like it was a very boring experience, but I did not necessarily dislike anything about the school.

The teachers tried to get to their students and help them do better. Yet the environment and surrounding culture often conflict with that of a learning mindset.

Hillside High School is an extremely diverse school. The school offers a lot of clubs and programs that you can join if you choose to. The school also has a very welcoming environment that took me right in as one of their own my very day there. The last two years of my high school career were amazing here at Hillside. I won a football state championship, I am going to be inducted into the National Honors Society, and I received multiple division one offers including one from Columbia University.

I have raised 3 children in the Hillside community with my husband. We had children at every single school. I am a teacher myself, as with any community, both sides need to be reciprocated parents, teachers, students, and administrators. Essentially then, all schools are successful.

In a very bad area. No diversity. Parents are seldom involved. Staffing isn't great. Would never put my kids in here. Constant fights breaking out. Bullying is a major issue here.
