The school as a whole values their "close-knit community" but I would say that this masks the prejudice that most of the school holds, there is a very obvious division between most groups based on demographics. There are many issues that I would say are ignored such as many clubs and organizations being under financed and left to support themselves while sports such as football never seem to be underfunded.

My experience at HHS has been good. There are a lot of kind teachers that help when needed. However, the fact that Hilmar is located in a rural area and is a small school there isn't much diversity and opportunities. For example, there are only a few AP classes compared to other schools. What I would like to see change is the quality of the food because it's not appetizing at all. Overall, this school is pretty good.

I like the small campus. I'd change some teachers. The athletics program is a good program.

Hilmar High is a great school. The other reviews are from so long ago that they do not serve this school any justice at all. My whole family grew up in Hilmar and all through the Hilmar school system. People from Hilmar have gone on to do big things!
