Good quality public high school in rich white suburbs. Struggles with diversity. School culture has a large focus on college readiness - very competitive academic environment.

It's an excellent high school that is hyper-focused on preparing their students for college, sometimes to a fault. It can be difficult for average or special needs students to feel like they are good at things because everyone is so hyper-focused on achievement and being exceptional that they make kids with normal interest levels seem lazy or uncaring.

They do a very good job in the way they are always building more. They never get complacent with the fact that they are a great school. There is not much diversity but they did try and foster it and make it a focal point.

Beware! If you are looking for a school that can accommodate a full range of students, this school is no longer it.
