GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Conant is an overall great school. The academic experience is great, with knowledgeable and friendly teachers, and there are ample opportunities for academic support for when you need it. There is not much trouble at the school and it is a very safe place to be. There is also a good amount of school spirit, especially during football season.

I am a recent graduate of Conant HS and my experience at the school had its ups and downs. I had a rough start at the school as a international transfer student due to my school's lack of system to test and place students into classes. However I learnt a lot about the US and had wonderful teachers (mostly) that pushed for my success every bit. The school is very competitive so I would say it gets lonely if you dont already have friends from middle school or are a bit of an introvert or new to the country.

Food is very much lacking, literally the frozen chicken and broccoli is cold or still pink on the inside, which is scary. The snack line is good, though. Teachers are mostly good, and the ap classes do prepare you for college. Too much money goes to the athletic department and not enough goes to the music and arts departments. The latter two are scrounging stuff together while the athletic department gets new uniforms and more grants every year.

Wonderful school! Teachers, administrators, and staff care so much for the students. I never had emotional issues (that needed immediate attention) but I know others who did and when I told an adult they would immediately act on the situation. I would change my mind all the time about my schedule an...

Parents, This is for all of the children who have gone unheard and are struggling. Because the school refuses to accept responsibility for their actions, I believe this review will bring us justice. Mental health isn't taken into account here, as counselors are oblivious, and it's no surprise that t...

My son is now in his Junior year and has had an exceptional experience. Teachers are very interactive and engaging. Sports programs are inclusive and encouraging. Friendships he has formed should last a lifetime.Highly recommend!

In terms of the actual school, mostly everything is alright. The teacher s friendly and helpful, the students aren't too bad, the clubs are fun and it's easy to find your way around. But, if you want a good education for your child, you'lol have to move to another country. If you asked me what I lea...
