GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I love Lewis County High School, it is on the rise with soany programs for people going to college and people going into a trade. There are also some downsides. People struggle with being bullied, but yet nothing is done. The policy is that they are completely against bullying, but hardly anyone gets punished for it.

if your thinking about having your kids go to any Lewis county school district you should probably rethink that. I am a senior there but i transferred my sophomore year from a different school. This school only cares about football and dress-code violations. They do not care about students mental or physical health. There is no nurse, the bathrooms are never fully cleaned and half the doors don't even have locks on them, there is only 3 janitors for a school with 500+ students. There is so much racism sexism and homophobia and the school does nothing about it.

I like the teachers and staff. There are career focused classes for everyone, especially the medical field.
