The school is a largely positive environment, and most of the staff are helpful and approachable. Diversity is about average for this area of Ohio, and a large amount of the students are supportive of those with different beliefs.

The academics were great. The teachers really helped you get ready for college. The only issue was there wasn't much of a bullying prevention. This would've helped me out phenomenally.

Holgate is a good small town school, and it's what you would expect from one. Everyone knows each other so it's a close atmosphere, and each student has their own unique relationship with their teachers. Because it's so small, every student does get the help they need academically and socially. The only thing I would complain about is the lack of class choices only because the school is so small.
