GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Hollis High School is a small, rural school where you can walk down the halls and recognize just about anyone you see. Since it is a small school the community is well on board for activities, such as sports, and helps where it can. Personally I would love to see Hollis High actually prepare students for college. It also wouldn't hurt to quit changing the faculty every year.

Hollis High school is a small school with big goals. You learn so much in this school, and the athletic program works with you to gain a higher academic level. You don't only learn about math or science, you learn about the real world. They teach you and prepare you for the future, and for life after high school. The school may be small, but the staff is sure to make everyone feel safe and at home in those walls. The teachers will guide you, but by your side. They try to stick with you and help you through everything. Not only with your grades, but with life as well.
