GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It is okay, I just wish it was bigger and had more sports like the public schools. It also should have more safety and better funding than what it has now.

This school is nice for people who enjoy small classes, but that is it. The school only has a boy basketball team and that is it. The books are not up to date and many of the teachers have or will quit. If I could change schools I would.

Some teachers at Haliwa aren't the best that they could be. Also, this year all I need to graduate is three classes but I am forced to take eight. Also, this school does not have any AP or honor classes.

I was interviewed for a job and was promised a decision and feedback but never got it. It was even after they said not giving feedback was unprofessional. I had to find out from the receptionist that the job was filled.

Our Tribal School is unique. It has smaller teacher/student ratio, therefore it gives the teachers more one on one time availabilty for each student. The teachers really communicate with the parents on the progress of their child(ren) to make sure the student is reaching his/her full potential. The...

The school is in the community and has small classes. There is a lot of love shared with the students.
