GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The vast majority of teachers are amazing, counselors can be kind of hit or miss. Foreign language department needs more (and better) teachers.

Holliston high is a fun school and lets the students have lots of freedom while also providing a good education to many.

I feel as if there are a lot of faculty members that really care at Holliston High School, and the quality of education is excellent, but there is sometimes a lack of passion from the students— many are simply doing what they can at the last minute to get by. Administration and advising are also somewhat disorganized with the spread of information and are not always receptive to student needs.

The curriculum offers a wide range of levels including AP, Honors and two levels of college prep. My youngest is challenged, encoura...

There are few, if any, bad schools in MA. Holliston High School is ranked above larger, more affluent towns in MA for both classroom and test results. Holliston is well represented in Ivy as public honors programs and other well ranked schools admissions every year, and there is a strong program for...

HHS is an excellent school. Not perfect, but no school is! The point is it provides great value. Both my children attended and my daughter achieved great results, 3 APS and a place at an Ivy league school. My son did well, achieved 5 APS and perfect SAT scores. He decided to go to a state university...
