I attend STEM Academy of Hollywood located on the campus of Helen Bernstein High School. My experience here at STEM Academy has benefited my future with my interest in the medical field. Being that it provides me to partake in medical courses all four years learning different medical procedures and gaining knowledge on a variety of health topics. STEM Academy has also paved my way into opening many opportunities for myself in and outside of school such as volunteering experiences and many other opportunities with Kaiser Permenante.

When I came to this school I expected the worst from what I heard. But the teachers are nice and helpful and the counselors are some of the best you can have to help you for your future. This school offers amazing programs in both magnet and non-magnet.

Worst School to ever go to in my life. Bad environment - bad surroundings - teaching is worthless. There is nothing to learn from. Students are drained. It feels like jail. It will definitely worsen your childs mental health. ( it worsen mine) I wouldn't blame your child for hating to go to school....

My review for HBHS was not an accurate representation of HBHS. I attend STEM Academy of Hollywood, which is VERY different from HBHS. STEM is a separate Pilot school that operates in the same campus, but it seems that GreatSchools doesn't know that. HBHS seems unsafe and not as effective as STEM, an...

Ah yes, Helen Bernstein High School. I was a Student there and thank heavens I left after 2 years spent into that school, and I like to share that. First off, the Principal there is not a Principal; its a person put in charge at the last second because no one wanted to be Principal of that School, p...

I have been a teacher at Helen Bernstein High School since it first opened. The school has come a long way since its first year, and I'm proud to be a part of such a dynamic team. My fellow teachers are hard-working professionals who really care about challenging the students, and preparing them to...
