I have been a student at this institution since my sophomore year. I've seen things and individuals that I never saw at my old school. Growing up in this setting, I regret switching into a different school. That's all I can say reading through the review guidelines.

This school is not a good school at all. The teachers are there to collect a check. They don't respond to emails when it concerns your child. Some of these teachers feel uncomfortable with kids that are of African descent. They used these kids to build their reputation with football and other sports. They don't offer any of their students tutoring or any other educational assistance. A certain race of kids are targeted and feel like they are under a microscope. Without the football program years ago they were almost bankrupt that program saved them. Don't watch your kids struggle in school it's better to place them where they can succeed.

Chaminade is a decent academic school. However people should know this is not the prestigious “sports” school for your kids to become a star athlete.
