I have lived in Holmdel my whole life and have never considered leaving. Holmdel has one of the top public school systems and it is very clear. Academics are strong while also giving kids the ability to be social.

Holmdel High School has very good teachers, who are willing to go above and beyond for their students. There are many different clubs and extracurricular activities as well. While the schoolwork can be demanding, it helps students better prepare for a college workload.

Bullying, chaos, government, unions…need I say more. This is not a district that prioritizes students. They can’t.

Holmdel Schools are great but the rating system used by GreatSchools depends on all the students taking part in NJ state tests. Not all students sit for the tests in Holmdel as it’s not mandatory as such the score drops. Another factor why the rating is low is because there is a low number of Africa...

Both of my children went to Holmdel High School. One has graduated and one is still attending. Each of them was thoroughly challenged by the teaching staff as well as other students. I would highly recommend Holmdel High School as well as the rest of the Holmdel School System.

The variety of AP courses offered during my time at HHS helped me skip a full semester at NYU. Some of the teachers and administrators have had such an immeasurable impact not only on my academic career, but on my professional and personal development.
