I was a student at McMahon for 9 years (k-8). I just graduated yesterday and all I can say about this school is that it's the best school in the district. Teachers want you to succeed, the school offers office hours (where you stay after school if you having trouble in any area) for grades 6-8, and...

This school is wonderful considering the funding. The teachers are truly invested in the students and their success and are very willing to work with parents on ways to help students learn.

This school is in serious jeopardy. I can not believe that the State of Massachusetts allows children to be educated in such a school. The school building is in serious disrepair, damaged ceiling tiles, floor tiles, stained windows, moldy cabinets. The classes are overcrowded. There is a high percen...

I am a teacher at McMahon School, and know for a fact that students in Grades 3, 4, and 5 have Social Studies on a regular basis. These grades also have field trips that are connected to the Social Studies curriculum.
