Great school overall. By the nature of the hybrid online learning model, there are some deficiencies like sports and clubs (opportunities for students to get together regularly).

MBTA gave me the opportunity to pursue theatre on a much more full time basis. the flexibility in the class schedule allowed me to make time for things that actually mattered to me, rather than sit 8 hours a day in a classroom for an education i didn't want. With MBTA, i left highschool at age 16, getting my GED and graduating a full two years earlier than i would have in a traditional school. The assignments were challenging, but only rarely to the point where they were completely uninteresting.

The teachers are all challenging their students to push themselves and their education. The teachers are all very knowledgeable. The student may take on as many classes as they wants. Most students like the variety of art classes tat are offered at our school. The scheduling process includes a form that needs to be filled out as well as a conference with the counselor before the new school year starts.

If my expectations hadn't been set by the information we received at orientation, we might have had a less miserable experience at MBTA. Unfortunately, we were told the elementary grades are fully homeschool, the middle schoolers are hybrid, and high schoolers are fully online and taught by teachers...

My son has gone to MBTA for 3rd and now fourth grade. Great School for Parent freedom. He likes the Jr. FLL class and how we only have to go down to the school 2 x per month. You get to pick the curriculum you teach your child. They do provide funds for curriculum and/or extracurricular activities....

The teachers are so supportive and involved with my daughters progress and as a result she is excelling and excite...
