I liked how the teachers care about their students. I think the way we are closed off to things around us needs to change.

Its a little above average high school wise, it is a smaller school and class size is going down extesively. The High school and Elementary school currently have bulling problems. The student body is mostly homophobic and very Christian dominated that reflects into the school board that is currently having controversy with moms for liberty. If you look it up you will probably find news storys about a science teacher or a kid that ran away from school maybe the fake bomb threats.

I have never felt unsafe at South Side. I could never see any of the students in attendance here wanting to seriously hurt somebody. I have never seen bullying happen here at this school. If people have an issue with one another, they either work it out on their own or something small happens after school. There's a health and wellness program available here, and there are daily health tips on the announcements in the morning.
