HMMS is the best middle school in the county. The focus is on kids. Lots of choices for athletics, academics, and everyone is treated fairly. New administration that is making big changes for the better.

I could not agree more. Being a new student, my daughter was harassed on social media during the school day. Somehow, the vice principal found out, dealt with the students, took a report, and the principal called me to let me know that it happened. Unbelievable communication.

Unfortunately the students with learning disabilities and minorities are being neglected at Horace Mann. Just look at the statistics shown on this site. I love this school. There is consistency and fairness in all areas. Some people don't like being held accountable, but the people who do the right thing appreciate the leadership.
