My overall experience with Sam Houston Math, Science & technology center was fairly well. The programs such as the Mariachi department and Art electives were very welcoming. The AP's and directors were very helpful when it came to advanced courses. There is a great selection of very welcoming and kind teachers who will brighten your day.

From my prospective this is one of the safest schools in Houston . The gates close during the day and all entry's except the main entry have passcode/ video see thru monitor. There's several after school programs and activities.

I started this high school in my 11th grade year and I would say that I started developing faints which were both the greatest and worst experience in my high school because I didn't got much help but did overcome it by my own. I would personally will like to change the teachers, Ap's and nurse help me feel comfortable instead of feeling judge.

In the past two years, two students from this school were accepted and reported to the United States Military Academy at West Point. That school has a 7% acceptance rate. This tells me that if students apply themselves, it doesn't really matter what you they attend. The faculty members with whom I s...

This school is horrible. I withdrew my daughter after her schedule was changed 4 different times. They could never explain why, and when I demanded to meet with the principal, she never had time. She's always too busy to meet with anybody. They have a lot of discipline problems and they just don't c...

Sam Houston is a place that anyone willing can learn. There are many students making honor roll, and the teachers care for the students' education. Many have stayed after donating time to help ones who need a little bit of help. They are a bit strict but it is to help us, not hurt. Many have success...

in general Sam Houston isn't as bad as everyone says it is. We have teachers that care about our education and want us to go to college. We have the "Go Center" that provides information for us to go to college. They also help us so that we can take out SAT without having to pay. We should get recog...
