We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It was a pretty good school but there were too many kids and it was kind of hard to make friends but the teachers teach very well and are very kind.

Great school, wonderful teachers and academics. All of the exams are well-made and the academics are great.

I made a lot of good friends and the classes are good. The food is okay, it could be better. They give us healthy options with fruit and on certain fridays we get a free desert. There are options to buy too. The school merch is a little expensive, but the quality is good.

My student attended this school because of the “academic” ratings and reviews, but if we had to do it again we would totally not pick this school! The administration and staff are horrible. From the rude office ladies to the unavailable principal that sweeps everything under the rug and doesn’t disc...

The school is infested with rats and other rodents. The students get in trouble for eating in class because of this infestation, yet te...

Lanier is a Vanguard ("gifted and talented") magnet school. As a result, the school's students score relatively well on various standardized tests. This leads to high placement for Lanier in various school ranking systems that put significant weight on these test scores. This, however, has nothing t...
