Although the academic programs the school offers such as AP or IB, there are some limitations to it. There is no variety in courses of any kind which can limit student's learning, there are some teachers who could definitely be trained to react more appropriately to students. Academics are the best in the area, they offer one of the best programs and are not filled with irresponsible students.

This school made me realize my desire to grow beyond what is considered above average. I feel that this school often forces its students into "high standards" without providing any opportunities that will allow students to do so. It does not take the mental health of students into consideration which plays into my point where us students must take our futures into our own hands, instead of waiting for a school to handle it.

Westchester has been the best school the administration is great and has helped me so much with accommodations for my ADD. It is also a lovely environment, in general, the teachers are amazing and help you when you have questions. The students here are also great we all get along and we all talk to one another.

Just completed our first year at WAIS. Very happy with the teachers and administration--they are excellent and care about each student as an individual. IB program is great, and academic achievement is celebrated. Students are allowed and encouraged to be individuals. Excellent school.
