The school is very focused on athletics. There are a few good teachers that encourage the students to follow their academic pursuits. There are not many chances to excel with academics without going off campus to a local college.

I graduated from EKHS this past year. the biggest problem was that the administration was inconsistent with rule enforcement and they would let things slide for a long time. Then suddenly, kids would start being pulled into the office because that rule suddenly mattered. Also, the VP was known for yelling and cussing at kids because he believe adult language would make them think it was serious, but a lot of kids thought it was unprofessional for him to do so. Some teachers are fantastic, and the ag program is very good.

This school is awful. The administration is poor. The safety is worse.
