GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My overall experience with Hubbard High school has been less than enjoyable. The food isn't good, the school has been infested with bugs, and the teachers that I've had are mediocre. Many events are last minute, leaving little prep time, and the school is old fashioned. For example, Hubbard High School still does a senior auction, selling the seniors for a day to raise money for the senior trip.

It is not a bad community at all. Good people and staff making an effort. It is definitely not the best school academically, but it is improving.

I love how all of the teachers actually care about you, and if you show everyone respect then you will get the same amount of respect shown to you.

The poorly run school lacks focus on learning. Money is spent on sports, focus is on sports. Even saying this, the people hired to do the coaching are micro-managed by administration. If your child is not an athlete he will be ignored. If he is an athlete, hard work and team dedication don't count....
