As a student, a teacher should know your name. My freshman year, I had a teacher who did not know my name until the fourth quarter of the year. I was in their class for almost two semesters. I personally believe that Wayne is overcrowded and falling apart. I do appreciate that they work with Sinclair and I can take ccp classes, but The only reason I took them was so I didn't have to report to a Wayne staff.

The worst parts of my experience is the amount of fighting that occurs at my high school. The best part is the willingness of most of the office staff to listen and take ideas into consideration. I wish there were more staff trained in multiple sub- groups of subjects, for example a math teacher could teach higher level as well as lower level math courses.

Wayne was a good school, full of diversity, inclusion and culture. Most teachers understand their students and create great bonds that we will forever be grateful for. College readiness could be better, but for what we have I would say the teachers do their best to teach proper curriculum.

Great students, respectful and eager to learn. Teaching staff is very helpful as well as office staff, to me as a first year teacher. Starting my second year now. About 2% of the student population does not want to learn, attend class, or take tests. Don’t let that discourage you. We will bend over...
