GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Hudson Falls High School has a wonderful community. There are of course bad days, as well as students who don't love to be there that make the days harder but it's a great place to be. We have a wonderful community and have always come together in hard times with community services or all types. Being in such a positive space has taught me compassion and made me strive to be a better person. Even with the bad days, I love my school.

There's been 10 fights so far (Dec.2015) for this school year. Students constantly curse & yell at each other. We have a satellite police office in our school, but it doesn't seem to do a lot in regards of deterring kids from fighting. Also, if you try to break up a fight, chances are you get suspended, too.

Some teachers are awesome & very encouraging. Others seem to only have one teaching style, but not very many. Overall though, the teachers aren't the problem; the students are.

A majority of the teachers are absolutely wonderful at Hudson Falls, but the main issue is that a lot of the students are not interested in learning. Those students negatively influence the learning environment. Students a...

Rating would be better if every single thing I needed to do for school work wasn't blocked. They have blocked every single thing you could think of. They seriously even blocked the ability of us to changed the background on Google. Most videos are blocked on YouTube, even the educational ones are, F...
