My experience with Hargrave high school was that it was a typical small-town high school. There wasn't much community between the students and there were "cliques." The administration is very behind on everything despite having less than 1000 students in the entire school. There are not that many extracurriculars, and almost no students involved with the school. Academics are also subpar.

It's a pretty good school, offering many chances for college readiness. They offer no AP courses until the sophomore year, and there are few even once you get there. However, the connection to Lee College provides many opportunities to earn college credits while studying. The people are good, and the school is good too.

Hargrave high school excels in school safety and the education I have received has been well. The best part of my experience at HHS has been the friends and memories I have made so it pains me to say that the worst part would be the lack of diversity. I know as the school district grows so does the diversity but for the longest time it was difficult to make friends who understood what it was like to grow up as a first generation Mexican American.

this school has taught nothing but racism and the teaching is too fast for half the students at that school but the JROTC program is one of the best i've ever been too
