GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

At North meck they try to give us a good experience like we have a vip program to reward good students and they get to do to special events. But on the other hand they were so many fights last year and the ac hardly works in some buildings. We now have to go through tsa line like putting everything metal into a bin before we can enter and it makes a lot of students late everyday . For me it's not so much the rules is about how management handles those rules.

North Mack overall isn't that bad of a place to be at if you're just going to school from an education standpoint it could be better if the entire class would be more into the lecture instead of maybe three for people out in the in the entire classroom cell phones are very much a major distraction for my generation and a younger people in school it's a mine altering a physically demanding addiction to cell phone is and if cell phones can be an addiction so can learning

During my time at North Mecklenburg High School, I believe that I have been prepared to go into college because of the program that the school provides. The school provides the IB program which has taught me skills that would help once I enter college.

Don't come here, this school has no school spirit and feels like a prison. Sending your kids here will not give them a good high school experience with a community feel. There is no community here.

This is a horrible school to send your kid. The teachers aren’t good at their job and act like they care but in reality they really don’t and some even encourage the students terrible behavior. A lot of those kids at that school are bad teenagers always up to no good and getting in trouble. Please d...

This doesn't feel like a school. There is police officers everywhere slamming students, and sirens going off at every transition (deafening). You would think we are a bunch of criminals, when we're simply here trying to get an education. Always on restricted movement which is annoying because why is...

This school has the Huntersville Police walk students out on a daily basis. This school hides behind their shrinking group of IB students/program to improve their reputation. Don't be fooled. The principal is failing her school and the students who show up every day. Time for new leadership is criti...
