Excellent teachers in all levels of school, but the small community leads to a lot of drama. The high school in particular offers classes that really challenge students if that's what they're looking for, as well as a good amount of school spirit which makes the high school experience a little more fun.

Independence High School is a small school. I enjoy this because I am able to become very close with my classmates and my teachers.

Profanity and sexuality in hallways is a problem at EVERY school, much worse at others even in the area. I was very unhappy with this school. As i walk down the hall t here is a great amount of profanity and sexuality in the hallways. There is a complete lack of diversity. There are not a wide range of classes to choose from, and only one foreign language. This sets your child up for a disadvantage. Th...
