This school could definitely use some improvement. On the positive side, the school is semi-diverse, has a good band, and good classrooms. On the negative side, the school has some stupid rules, a restrictive dress code that strips students of their confidence and comfortableness, the lunch is gross, and we are required to wear a gray shirt and black bottoms for gym, not what we want. In conclusion, I think this school has a long way to go in terms of student happiness and health.

I am a Sun Valley middle school parent who has enjoyed the growth that I've seen out of my son over the past three years. He has grown in every single area of his life: academics, self-confidence, the arts, and friendships. Great middle school experience, principal, and teaching staff.

Fights, bullying, teachers ignoring children's problems, lack of discipline. In general, parents who care about their children's future try to avoid sending their children to this school if possible. Therefore, more than 60% of the children in the class are children from a not very educated family....

My child’s first year at this school has been the absolute worst. Sun Valley Middle Schools is unethical. The 6th grade assistant principal shows favoritism to a specific group of kids.
