I only recently graduated in 2025 from Southport High and my time there was filled with good memories. Southport helped me prepare for college and even encouraged me to take college classes in high-school to help me with college later on .

Southport highschools is a good school when it comes to getting an education and as long as you are focused and ask for help when needed, the teachers are good at helping when asked but they could be more engaged in the students who don't try as much and also do better with helping the students that need it.

During my time at Southport high school I enjoyed my time there. The school has treated me and my fellow peers quite nicely. I loved the spirit of my school. The teachers are great. As my senior year is coming to an end in a few short months. I'm grateful for everything they did. I can say that that the counseling department needs some more work. But overall it was a great school and I would recommend it. Every school has there pros and cons. But I can say without a doubt that I enjoyed my time there and if I would a freshman again I wouldn't choose a different school. Being a Southport will always be home.

In my opinion they did it in order to make themselves look better statistically instead of for the benefit of students. The 50% policy is very d...
