Over my last 4 years at Southport High School I have had many opportunities that got me out of my comfort zone, like I had the opportunity to volunteer at a few things with my culinary pathway class and that really helped me get out of my comfort zone and talk to people, I have also met some great teachers that I have become close with and because of my attendance at Southport high school I feel pretty prepared to attend college in the fall.

Southport high school was very welcoming to students and teachers were always very helpful. However, they focused a lot on sports instead of academics. I would like to see academics more than sports.

Overall a good school but needs more support from the township. I would like to see more support for STEM-based classes.

I went to Southport High from 2019-2023. At some point they introduced a policy which provides a 50% grade for assignments which are not turned in/missing. This school DO NOT SEND YOU CHILDREN TO!!! It is horrible the teachers are disrespectful and childish. A majority of this schools students discriminate against other races and sexuality’s all the time and the teachers do nothing.
