GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I believe that most of the teachers here really do care about their students. They try to give us the best education possible to help us in our future and make us college ready. The students here are also good people. There a few bad ones that can ruin it for the rest, like some people tear up the bathrooms and stuff like that but for the most part the people at this school are good people. It also offers a lot of actives that you can be involved in. I've been able to participate in all types of sports and clubs. There is a lot of school spirit here as well, the student section is always real big during the games and it's always a fun time here.

IHS was very accommodating and had very interesting teachers. I can confidently say that I had a wonderful time when going to school here. The buildings are eye catching and there's always a funny story waiting to happen.

Most of the teachers really care about the school and students. It is a relatively poor district, but recently a bond issue was passed for an all new science and math building.
