GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

If any student in your child's grade participates in a prank, you child will also be punished. This school feels a one-size-fits-all is appropriate.

I liked how committed the art teacher, Mrs. Lange, was to her arts program and never let anyone try to shut it down for more money to spent elsewhere in the school. I wish however, that we had a better theater program, just for lack of interest in it because no one really knows about it within our community.

I am a junior at WHS and it has been a good experience. I'm glad I got to be a part of the NICE Community School District. I would highly recommend it to others coming to town looking for a new district to join. Academics are viewed above sports and that's something I really admire. High school is a place to learn before you can be an all star athlete. That is one reason I really like WHS.

School is funded well but most of the students have drug addictions or hide and vape in the bathroom, have heard and experienced first hand lots of stories of student body screaming slurs at other teams during sporting events. Just not overall a very good environment to put kids into.

Excellent school environment. The dress cues is strict but that's okay. They don't tolerate any messing around. There is a wide variety of classes to choose from that aren't offered at other nearby schools (Law class was one a few years ago). I felt very prepared for college and couldn't have asked...
