The 2022-23 school year was the first for my child at East Islip Middle School, where 6th grade is a transitional year as students get used to changing classes, using lockers, expanded testing curriculum, and sets the stage for the remainder of their primary education. My daughter goes to East Islip Middle school and I can honestly say that the school offers a lot of opportunities for the students. From extra help to extracurricular activities. It’s up to us parents to guide them and encourage them to excel. Most of the teachers are great, however a lot of the stu...

The teachers are terrible, the bathrooms are gross. My kid gets bullied all the time and the teachers do nothing about it. My kid also got yelled at for wearing a tank top in the summer.

This is a excellent school. I'm so grateful there teachers offer extra help weekly after school. They give the kids so many things to join. The way they run the middle school is very professional and my child is excited to go to school everyday. I'm Very grateful for this school- Linda Colleran
