GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I overall enjoy my school. A safe and healthy environment is provided. The administration and staff always support their students to the best of their abilities. The food could be better because it does not always taste the best but it is decent. I would like to see the school continue to be a great school and continue to help students succeed. I think the quality of the older sections of the school should be updated and improved. Overall there is nothing I would like to see change.

South side high school is a very comfortable environment to learn in. People at south side are very welcoming and I love that. The teachers there help you with whatever you need help with . Staff will go out there way to make sure each student is provided with the essentials they need for school. One thing I would change is the cell phone rule. I feel like my school is too strict about the policy and need to ease up just a little.

I attented 2 high schools between 2011-2015, Chester County and South Side and this school was horrible compared to CCHS. some of the teachers really care about their students learning, but the administration, RIDICULOUS.
