GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The environment is very loud and the students make the campus sound horrible how much they talk about having under age intercourse and how they abuse drugs at home . Overall I don't like anyone on the campus the only things that has value is that you can graduate actually having your future mapped for you .Other than that if your looking for socializing not the school for you but if you only like to do work like me this is your school . Athletes don't attend this school they have no sports

A philip Randolph was all in all a good school school .Some of the things that I would like for to change is when fights breaks out the whole school isn't punished . Other things in the school is the front of the school looks like a prison and is not very a welcoming look. Also some other things are teachers tend to have days where they feel like they don't wanna teach because of how their day is going or they say "I don't care if y'all don't wanna learn imma still get paid" when that line comes out if my start to kind of shut the students done and have a mentality like well the teacher don't wanna teach so what's the point of me coming to school. Then we a student start to shows that type of behavior the teacher wants to tell the student "Oh you might as well stop coming to school and dropout" .Now i feel like if a teacher feels that type of way they shouldn't be working because a teacher job is to bring a child up and try to keep them from dropping out and want to stop learning .

This school year the school was unorganized. Whenever you ask a teacher a question, they look at you with a blank face and tell you" I know the same thing you know." The kids are hard to control and the environment is not safe

Frank H. Peterson is the brother to A Phillip Randolph. My child has attended APR and now attends Frank H. Peterson which I found to be a much better school with excellent teachers. The envrionment is much better.

My daughter will attend high school in August 2014, but after dancing in Brentwood Grades 2 - 5, then LaVilla Grades 6-8 she no longer wants to dance and attend Douglas Anderson. I do not want her to attend Andrew Jackson High based on the school's ratings...What about A. Philip Randolph. Accepting...
