I've recently came to this school back in November 2024 moving from California. My first thoughts on the school weren't the best as the last school I went to was Westminster Highschool, CA. I had really high standards for the school but realized it wasn't the best but also not the worst. It was a fully indoor school campus which I was not used to but got the hang of it slowly. If I had to rate this school 1/10 I would honestly go with a 6/10. I'm making that rating because they have this weird system and they are really high on the punishment side. For example, if someone got into a fight with a ton of people at the school (one person against like three-four), if that one person was trying to defend themselves when already being attacked, they'd be suspended also for trying to protect themselves. That part I don't really agree with because nobody is just going to want to get beaten up by somebody, who wouldn't defend themselves?

I am a sophomore at Northside high and I have quite a bit to review. For starters the teachers are despicable I personally feel like the teachers don't help students academically or care for them. They always have an attitude or feel some type of way towards the students. They cuss, they make jokes on students, they throw things and have complete meltdowns in the classroom. I feel as though you should be able to control your emotions as well as your class. The school is overall last minute with everything we have no school spirit, and we are dictated all of the time. Yes, I understand that there are rules and guidelines for a school, but this is just not it. people should be happy and excited to come to school. I have never heard one person that I associate with or even if I don't associate with say they enjoy coming to Northside high. People do not like being here at all we are locked down all the time with no freedom of any choice. I do not like this school and I don't recommend.

My past 4 years have been all over the place. From great days to not so great days. However, everyone has their days, which is why I love my school. I'm proud to be a monarch.

This school does not regard personal medical information. I submitted an important medical document, the school front office, and nusre lost it. There are more mediocre teachers than good ones. There are better options, than North Side. Do your research. I urge you to document every time you submit...

I’m not gonna lie, after the murder that took place my (now snr) freshman year nothin has been the same. It feels like a prison, zero phone policy where they expect us to have them locked away in our back packs, the inability to congregate in the mornings being forced to go directly to class without...
