GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I absolutely love the extracurriculars. I was in varsity choir, soccer, FFA, key club, etc. we had the best college and career counselor to help us. I liked show we took dual classes with colleges around us

I greatly enjoyed how involved the community was with everything that went on at the high school. I was a part of many different organizations at Jacksonville High School- Band, tennis, and theater- and love the experiences these programs were able to give me. I do wish that the theater program was better funded and that the bathrooms in the main hall could be updated to be more modern.

Jacksonville High school is a great school because of the traditions we have. these traditions are what keep us together and it is what helps us make unforgettable memories.

My experience has been that all sub populations are valued and the primary concern is to teach and graduate literate students. Community is key.

I work in a place with several parents and we were shocked to see Jacksonville High School had a couple of people who rated it poorly. We are all happy with the school and proud that are kids go to school there.

Great school. I've had 2 children attend JHS and they've both done great! I've lived in this area for 25 years and I've heard very few complaints.

School needs help, seriously! Not from around here, but where I'm from, people know how to read and write. This is pathetic. I'm getting my kids out of this district ASAP. I suggest you do the same!
