I've overall had a good high school experience, but I would like to see the school contact the students more and keep them updated on certain things that are up and coming that they should be looking for.

Alvin C. York Institute all around a pretty decent school. It is agriculture-focused, so there are plenty of those classes available to the students; however, for the time being there are absolutely no IT/computer classes. This is a bit of a let down as quite a few of the students there go on to have careers in Computer Science and Engineering.

It needs A LOT of work. There are very good people and teachers there, but there are some issues with getting a wider variety of classes. Also, the school itself is in bad conditions. Thanks to the wonderful custodians, it's getting better everyday. The school also needs more recreational activities that help the students come together more. There is a lot of cliques and it's hard to be a part of a school that doesn't like one another.

The Arts programs were amazing and they kept me highly engaged as a student. Their JROTC program is t...
