GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I enjoy the friendliness of all students and faculty here, however, I wish staff would fix all of the things that are broken here. Many of the bathroom doors have had broken locks for years, and no one has fixed them.

I believe the teachers in this school are very helpful and are great teachers. They take the questions you have and make them more understandable to us and to the other students.

Shakamak has a police who is at the school, and there are cameras always watching, but coming from a student standpoint, even as someone who was never in trouble, it feels like prison. With the warden around every corner, and the guards with guns on their hips, it's a little less than comfortable.

There are very few good teachers, such as Mrs. Morin, Mrs. Meyer, Mrs. Estey, Mr Gambill, and Mrs Miller. Discipline is terr...

Unless you have a certain last name, money, certain clothes or are into sports, you are nothing. I tried for several years to get my daughter tested for learning disabi...

I had 2 children attend this school and I can tell you that if you do not have the right last name you do not belong, if you do not play sports you do not belong, and if you are not from there you do not belong! The education comes second to the sports and that is unexceptable! My child had to take...
