This school is beyond corrupt and does not care to help it's students it has unrealistic expectations and ridiculous consequences to follow and the only reason all of their test scores are so high is because they kick out all the kids who need the most help if they're acting out they usually have a reason and kicking them out of school just to get your stats up is not going to help them in any way shape or form but all that matters to this school their reputation and stats the staff there lack respect for the children that attend and therefore the children lack respect for them the staff shows an insane amount of favoritism and never treats the children equally to the point if their favorite student doesnt like someone theyll treat them differently because of it even the SRO and office staff are guilty of this and I know that for a fact having witnessed it myself I personally have first hand experiences of being picked on and humiliated by teachers and staff at this school

Pickens High School is a pretty good school! Teachers are nice and students are pretty nice as well. There is room for improvement on college readiness and up keep of the school. Improvements on campus are coming along great!

They do not care about students learning or mental health and harshly punish students for things other schools would just give a warning for. They focus on test scores and use humility to force kids to work harder when there are so many more ways to encourage being hard working. Parents are not info...
