Jayhawk Linn high school is one of the best academic high schools around. The staff is amazing and learning is made easy here. Although discipline is the one area that could use some help, this school is amazing.

As a student we can be average and feel successful. We are not pushed to step outside our comfort zone and prepare us for the real world.

The school over all is average. The food is terrible. The teachers are really great and friendly, want to help, but students hardly learn anything. Many of the kids just screw around on their IPads all day. There is absolutely no college readiness. The staff is super nice, the activities are fun. Over-all, it's a pleasant environment but no learning is accomplished.

Wonderful small schools with caring, passionate teachers. Great community involvement. Our twins went to Shawnee Mission schools from kindergarten through 4th grade before we moved south and we've had a much better experience at Jayhawk-Linn. No regrets!

Faced with enormous cuts and hard decisions, the board, teachers, parents, and community have rallied behind this junior high/high school. With a very strong support system and team work, the students are still among some of the brightest. Board members and teachers have continued strong leadership...
