GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Twiggs County High School is a decent school in the country. The majority there are African Americans. The food there is great. Also, some of the teachers and staff there are nice.

One benefit from attending Twiggs County High School was the small classroom size. Teachers are able to provide more in-depth learning for students and more individualized attention towards academics. TCHS should offer a more variety of classes geared to various specialized skills need for the future workforce.

My experience at Twiggs County was very bittersweet because high school can be a difficult journey in one's life. Students often create drama, some of the teachers here sometimes stresses us students out, sometimes procrastination may cause some work not to get done but despite all of that, high school can be a great experience if you make it one sometimes you have to look at the little moments, the fun times, and the friends throughout.

Twiggs County High School has several problems: 1. Out-of-control student behavior 2. Total lack of parental interest 3. Very low test scores, but a strictly enforced dress code (for show, I guess) 4. Religious references in staff meetings as well as between teachers during school hours, as well as...

Twiggs County High School is the worst school system that I have ever experienced. Compared to my experiences in college, the school failed to offer any sort of academic challenges. During my first semester of college, I struggled every week to get the same grades that I was getting in high school....
