Jenkintown is a small school, so you get to know everyone very quickly, and for a long time. However, one thing I wish would change is the stubbornness to change our traditions and accept new things. Due to the long history of our district, and the influence parents and past generations have, many changes are not possible such as the introduction of caps and gowns.

Jenkintown Middle/High school is a small public school that has all the same benefits as a private school.

Jenkintown is a small-town school district that makes the best out of the allocated dollars. There's room for improvement, but that would require dollars, and so while it would be nice to have things like Home Economics and better college readiness programs, I realize that they are doing the best they can. That said, I would love to explore how we as a district can focus efforts on raising funds for the extras.
