Jenks is so big that it is hard to keep everyone under control, fighting is an issue as a result. The academics are good, and they have a large variety of electives as well. There are many good teachers, but some are not the best at helping their students. Distance learning has been an issue (basically wasted classroom time that would have been more beneficial). Administration seems focused on getting more money for sports above all else.

I love Jenks high school, the school help me so much and they don't leave out anyone. I wouldn't change anything about it.

Jenks high school is an amazing school. We have lots and lots of clubs for whatever you are into. The teachers for the most part are really nice and help out a lot.

Too much administrative politics, and too much emphasis on a state-wide Advanced Placement Program that doesn't serve kids needs in the end. Jenks Public Schools is the epitome of mediocrity. At the elementary level, students are not taught phoneme awareness, letter formation, phonics, spelling, meaningful word parts, and comprehension; students are not able to read at grade level unless parents/guardians are able to teach proper reading...

Our five kids graduated from Jenks High School and had a really good experience. They were well prepared for college and benefitted from the diverse range of classes and activities offered. No school is perfect, but we were very pleased with their overall experience and education.
